2010 CTE Month Video PSA Contest
The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) is searching for budding film makers and is looking to the career and technical education (CTE) community to find them!
What is the goal?
To promote career and technical education by creating a video public service announcement incorporating the 2010 CTE Month logo and theme, "CTE: Invest in Your Future."
Who can enter?
The contest is open to secondary, postsecondary and adult CTE students in film and video production classes or in other CTE courses. Students may enter as individuals or as a group.
What do I win?:
ACTE will announce the winning PSAs during its Annual Convention and Career Tech Expo Nov. 19-21 in Nashville, Tennessee. The winning student or team will receive $750 and the school will receive one complimentary copy of Apple's Final Cut Studio 2, a professional video editing suite. The second-place student or team will receive $250 and the school will receive one complimentary copy of Apple's Final Cut Studio 2. First and second place videos will be publicized on the Internet and may air on television. The winning student or team is not required to attend the Convention.
