Courageous Persuaders
NATIONAL PSA SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST
Courageous Persuaders is a unique and influential video scholarship contest that was created to make a difference in the tragic statistics related to underage drinking. High school students create 30-second commercials targeted at middle school students to warn them about the dangers of alcohol use. Winners will be selected by middle school students based on the video’s message. Over $14,000 in scholarships is available and the winning PSA will be shown on television.
Entry forms must be filled out on www.CourageousPersuaders.com. Deadline for submissions is February 11, 2009.
As primary sponsor and administrator of the program, the Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA) Education Foundation remains committed to the Courageous Persuaders program, a program created by McCann Erickson Advertising Agency in partnership with Courage First and the ideals established by Judge Michael Martone. DADA will uphold its commitment to ensuring that the Courageous Persuaders program continues to achieve its main objective – reducing underage drinking.
