The Arena Dining Challenge

Presented by DECA/Delta Epsilon Chi
Due March 30, 2009

What is The Arena Dining Challenge?

An online contest to test your ability to create and present an original themed culinary concept that could be sold during sporting/entertainment events in arenas, at stadiums or other exciting venues. In addition to demonstrating your original "recipe" concepts, you will create a simple but catchy promotional theme or personal style that will have customers waiting in line to sample your culinary creation.

Who is eligible?

Any student enrolled in a college/university degree or certificate program related to Culinary Arts/Food Service. Students who have already completed a program in culinary arts/food service and are now continuing their college education in a different area are also eligible. Compete by yourself or on a team of up to 3-it's your choice.

What can I win?

Your best award will be testing your skills and talents against some of the top culinary students in North America and beyond. PLUS:

1st Place:  $500

2nd Place:  $300

3rd Place:  $200

The top 10 finalist entries will be published in an online cookbook on the DECA/Delta Epsilon Chi Web site.
