Global hunger is a major worldwide problem. Almost 1 billion people in the world go hungry every day and many children in developing countries suffer from preventable and treatable conditions related to hunger and malnutrition.

Schwan’s Food Service Inc. is a leader in the fight against global hunger and they want your help. By creating a music video you and your friends can make a real difference, helping to raise awareness of this critical global issue.

Create an original song, record and upload it to SchoolTube. Up to four musicians can participate and the Grand Prize winner(s) will be flown to Las Vegas to perform their winning song.

The contest period begins December 1^st, 2008, with video uploads accepted between February 1^st and May 14^th, 2009. The rating period begins as soon as a video is uploaded - for more information, read the contest rules.

To Enter

• Read and Understand ALL the contest rules - posted here
• Send in parental permissions for each band member
• Create, perform and record an original song
• Have your teacher complete and submit the entry form
• Your teacher may then upload your entry

 

To Win

• Upload your original music video to SchoolTube
• Publicize your video to friends and family - have them come to SchoolTube to view and rate your video
• The top ten rated videos will be judged by a School Nutrition Association panel and 3 prize winners selected (see the rules for judging criteria)
