Drug Abuse Resistance Education

D.A.R.E. provides substance abuse prevention education and much more! The program is a police led series of classroom lessons. D.A.R.E. was founded in 1983 in Los Angeles, California. Today it is implemented in 75% of our nation's school districts and in 43 different countries. This year one million children will benefit from the D.A.R.E. Program.

D.A.R.E.'s mission is to equip kids with the tools that will enable them to avoid negative influences and allow them to focus on their strengths and potential. That is exactly what D.A.R.E. is designed to do.
