Professional and Educational Biography

Lucas Kent is an experienced educator and author of 6 Steps to Success in Teaching with Technology. His website MrKent.Net - Teaching with Technology Made Simple is designed to help educators implement technology effectively into their classrooms.

Mr. Kent has been working in education for over 10 years. After graduating from York University he worked for two years as an English teacher in Taiwan.  After this great experience he decided to get his Masters of Teaching from Griffith University in Australia. Over the past 7 years he has been a teacher and technology consultant at Burkevale Protestant Separate School in Penetanguishene, Ontario, Canada.

Mr. Kent specializes in education technology and uses cutting edge technology in his classroom, has designed websites for his students, and has developed a web community for students, parents, and staff at Burkevale Separate School. Lucas also provides assistance to other educators by offering his seminar, Teaching With Technology Made Simple.
